Dr Sharon Stone opened the doors of Nutter's Chapel Veterinary Clinic in 1995 at Nutter's Chapel Plaza.  After five years of growth, the clinic was relocated to its current location and the name was changed to St. Francis Veterinary Clinic.  The move afforded the opportunity to increase our size and better serve our clientele.  

Today, St. Francis Veterinary Clinic is a progressive veterinary facility offering a full range of veterinary services for companion animals.  Through a staff of highly skilled professionals, we deliver complete and compassionate care to pets whose owners have come to expect superior quality care for one of the most important members of their family.

Services include preventative health care (vaccinations, dental prophylaxis, exams); surgery (spays, neuters, soft tissue and orthopedic), dentistry, medicine, and hospitalization.  Other non-medical services include boarding, flea and tick control, prescription diets, and grooming.

    Krista graduated from UCA in 2008 and has recently started her Masters in Biotechnology with the University of Maryland. She has two cats (Trixie and Kiara) and a dog named Mouse. In her free time she enjoys visiting with friends, reading, and spending time out doors.

    Eryn is our Certified Veterinary Technician at St Francis. Her and her husband Brady have 3 Pitbulls and 2 cats. They are Also expecting their first baby in February!! When Brady isn't performing duties for the national Guard or doing work for school, He and Eryn are usually in the back yard with the dogs, doing projects around the house or working on their nursery.

    Andy has been with St. Francis since March 2010. He is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology Program at St. Petersburg College. He is married to Laura. They have a daughter, Abigail and another one on the way. Andy spends his time away from work with his family and dogs. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, and photography.

    Ashley has been with St. Francis since May 2011. For her the best part of working here is the enjoyable atmosphere created by the Doctors and Staff.
    Ashley received her  Bachelor Degree in Biology from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2010. She has applied to Veterinary School and hopes to be enrolled by the fall of 2012. In her spare time she enjoys planning her wedding with her fiance Jason, eating at new restaurants, or curling up with a good book.

    Simon was one of St. Francis' oldest members.  He could most likely be found curled up asleep in a box on the front desk.  An animal lover of sorts, he also enjoyed the occasional bird watching.  He enjoyed weekend getaways at Dr Stone's house where he slept in the "big bed" and roamed the back yard.

    Gloria takes her job as greeter seriously and can usually be found fighting Simon for the best box on the front desk. She frequently helps with the office work holding down paper, and can often be found napping on top of the hot water heater.  She loves to spend time in the back yard in warm weather chasing lizards, and never turns down a snack.
