Personal:
Dr. Stone opened St. Francis Veterinary Clinic in 1996 after spending 4 1/2 years in the Army. Her primary interests are in feline medicine and dentistry. Her family consists of her husband, Steve, son Simon and daughter-in-law Christie, and sons Sidney and Seth. She has three cats, one dog, and two chickens.

Ashley Custer, DVM

Personal:
Dr. Custer used to work at St. Francis as one of Dr. Stone's assistants and loved the area and clinic so much that she returned. She is interested in rehabilitative and feline medicine and has two kitties of her own: Merlin and Cheddar. When she isn't working, she enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling - her most recent location New Zealand.

Colby

Veterinary Assistant


In practice since 2016

Education: University of Central Arkansas

Colby started as a kennel assistant and since has worked his way up to an assistant and now works under Dr. Stone. Colby has showed his ultimate passion for animals and client concerns in his time at St. Francis & is always willing to help when it comes to our furry friends. He has two cats at home, King Arthur & Belle.



Hannah

Veterinary Assistant


In practice since 2016

Hannah came to St. Francis as a kennel assistant and is now a veterinary assistant under Dr. Custer. Her passion for the world of veterinary medicine has shown through her work ethic and her compassion for patients under her care. She has one of the biggest hearts in the clinic. Hannah is currently enrolled in Penn Foster for a veterinary nursing degree. At home, Hannah is the mom to a cocker spaniel mix named Baxter.


Andy

Veterinary Assistant


In practice since 2010

Andy previously worked for St Francis and has now come back as an assistant under Dr. Stone. He attends online classes at Oregon State University working towards his BS in Environmental Sciences. He has many animals at home; a boxer named Rook, a cocker spaniel named Ruby, a red-footed tortoise, a spotted python, and several aquariums. He loves spending time with his two daughters, Abigail and Anna, as well as hiking and fishing.

 



Tamiko , CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician


In practice since 2005

Tamiko is a 2012 graduate of Arkansas State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Her passions in the veterinary field are emergency medicine and anesthesia. She has been on the Arkansas Veterinary Technician Association Board as the state representative for 6 years. At home she is the mother of a box turtle, Ace; two pit bulls, Beau and Beauty; and an orange tabby named Kit-Kat. She enjoys beer festivals and going on cruises in her free time.



Kristi

Lead Receptionist


In practice since 2015

Kristi loves her job and getting to see all the animals and faces that come through the door. Kristi has three Chinese Crested Dogs, Mr. Man, Harley, and Zeke, and one Beagle, Cheeto. She is married to Leigh and has four children, Lexie, Maggie, Ben and Jake. When she is not at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her family and fishing.


Alec

Kennel Assistant


 In practice since 2015 

A recent graduate from Conway High School, Alec is an aspiring veterinarian. He will be attending the University of Central Arkansas the fall of 2018 and will be studying towards a degree in Biology. Alec spends his time reading, playing games, and playing with his three dogs; Zeus, a golden retriever mix, Jack, a black lab mix, and Atlas, a Siberian husky.

 


 


Haley

Kennel Assistant


In practice since 2018

Education:  Bachelors of Science in Addiction Studies

Haley started working at St. Francis in April 2018. She has been working in the veterinary field for a year. She has three cats, Bear, Tiger, and Smelly Cat. In her free time she like to play soccer, spend time with her friends, and go hiking.


Ben

Kennel Assistant


In practice since 2018

Ben attends Conway High School and is a member of the National Sr Beta Club. Although his future dreams lie in human medicine, he is loving learning about the world of animals. When he is not working, he is either spending time with his friends or jamming out on his many guitars.



Jennifer

Office Manager


In practice since 2007

Jennifer has worked as a veterinary assistant and supervisor in various clinics in Louisiana and New Mexico before making permanent base camp in Arkansas. She has worked in internal Medicine and ICU/Critical care, but her heart is in general practice. She is currently attending Penn Foster College for her Veterinary Nursing degree and looking to pursue her VPM degree thereafter. 


Alecia

Office Manager


In practice since 2011 

Alecia has been working at St. Francis since July 2017. She an Associates Degree in Business with and emphasis on Accounting and has done some sort of administrative work and book work since 2011. She loves her work and the others she works with and helps out where she can when needed. When not at work she loves to spend time with her husband Stacy and daughter Marie. A lot of her joy comes from the time she spends with her grandson, Brennan. She does not have any animals at this time, but loves all the furry and hairless friends that come in the clinic.
